I think, I have to read
I think, it’s Yes. Issues are from MDGs is really important, although it’s like so simple because it’s concerned to quantitative. For example, in Education sector, it was fine with 94.7% children were listed in Elementary school. But, when their school had leaky roofs, or just had limited book, and in the end teachers were incompetence so for children who have to go to school had gotten qualified education. Unfortunately, the education target in MDGs have not concerned or studied the quality aspect.

How could be?
The reason is it is more difficult than measuring the quality, although it’s not impossible. You can predict the quality of teachers, pr examination result, but it will be difficult when we measure and get the information of quality. This case brings us to the next hug problem. In big country and coloring, Indonesia. The national rate is not enough. For example, the hope of life in national is in 68 years. But, it is varying between 73 years old in Yogyakarta until 61 years old in Nusa Tenggara Timur. Besides, the province rate doesn’t break the district condition. So, in majority, the MDGs files have a limitation.

So, it’s too useless
Do not take the early decision. MDGs are not about the measurement and rate, but they will push us for doing something real. Preventing the death of mother is more important when we are just counting the rate of mothers died when they are born a child. The important thing is not just counting how many Indonesia’s children which in severe or moderate underweight, but also making sure that all children will get the good nutrient. One of the MDGs’ benefits is the kinds of problems which have been brought to the big attention for all elements, including people in wide. But, the report about the improvement of MDGs in district is also needed.

So, what for the National Report of MDGs is made?
Let’s think this is as the beginning point as a way of introducing the kinds of problems in generally. So, people in all of country can think and find the solutions. A national report can be added in to the international system which has a role to note the achievements of MDGs in whole of the world.

Talking about MDG
You know, what you say is true. The Development goaks focus mostly on quantity than quality.
Its also true when you say that the role of the development goals right now is to bring to focus in general, the problems faced by the world.
What I would like to add is this. I am 22 years old today. That means that generally the policies that are governing me right now ( including the MDGs) were made by those from my parents generation. This is part one.
Step 2 which will now be focussing on on assessing the quality and Improving the quality of services provided by the world to the world will be up to me and my genaration. By 2015, I will be the policy maker.
So what can I do to prepare myself as a young person to take over from where my parents' generation left, to make the world a better place?
How can I improve the quality of life?
What kind of preperations am I making to ensure that I will swim and not drown when I get to the river and it is time to cross?
